Ginevra Ivaldi is an Italian singer, actress, musical theater performer and singing teacher.
Born in Genoa on 24th June 2000, she approaches music from an early age.
With the desire to improve herself and conduct a stronger practice of her voice, at the age of
twelve she begins to take singing lessons and attend Musical Theater classes in Genoa. She
feeds right away of legends’ music such as Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and Nina
Simone. Her passion for black music has always influenced her way of singing. Her musical
genre ranges from soul, pop and r&b. She deals with songs of contemporary female artists’
like Adele, Rihanna, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga.
After graduating from the language high school, in 2019 she was admitted to the BSMT –
The Bernstein School of Musical Theater in Bologna, where she studied the three disciplines
of singing, dance and acting and graduated in 2022. Here she takes part in several
productions such as “Hello Dolly !”, “La Piccola Bottega degli Orrori” and “Bernarda Alba”.
Since September 2022, she’s a choral and individual singing teacher at the Scuola di
Musical in Genoa.
In February 2023 she joins the first Italian production of the musical “The Mad Ones – il
coraggio di scegliere” as music director. She’s going to be part of the ensemble of
the Musical “Bernadette de Lourdes” that will be staged from January 2025 in all major
Italian theatres, on the occasion of the year of Jubilee.
